Obi-Wan Kenobi's second lightsaber was the second lightsaber constructed and wielded by Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi following the loss of his first one during the battle of Naboo. He lost the weapon after being captured by Count Dooku on Geonosis prior to the outbreak of the Clone Wars.
The weapon eventually made it’s way into the hands of the pirate Maz Kanata who kept it locked away for many years. In 0BBY, Maz gifted the saber to the rebel fighter Clara Smith, for she had sensed Shawns prescene in the Force off of Clara and therefore decided someone needed to wield it. Therefore she gave the saber to Clara, with the sole intention of it being given to Shawn one day.
